Mitsukiyume LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Hylura mobile application and website (hylura.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account, we collect your username and a hashed version of your password. We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it via support correspondence.
When you scan an item, your photo is sent to our servers for AI-powered analysis. Photos are processed in real time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Scan results (item identification, pricing data, Flip Score, comps) are returned to your device and stored locally.
We collect basic usage data including scan counts, subscription tier, and account creation date to manage your subscription and enforce scan limits.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing), secure HTTPS connections, and access controls on our servers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Hylura is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. Hylura requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning items for resale analysis. Photos are used only for item identification and pricing — they are not used for any other purpose, are not shared with other users, and are not permanently stored on our servers.
If you choose to set a display name, it will be publicly visible on leaderboards and community features within the app. Display names are stored on our servers alongside your account data.
Display names must not contain profanity, racial slurs, sexually explicit language, or references to illegal activity. Hylura reserves the right to reset or ban display names that violate our policies. Display names are not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
You may change or remove your display name at any time from the Account screen. If your account is deleted, your display name will be permanently removed along with all other account data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on our website. Continued use of Hylura after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state laws.
