Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Hylura, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing a subscription or using the scanning service. Hylura is operated by Mitsukiyume LLC. For questions, contact support@mitsukiyume.com.

1. Supported Categories

Hylura currently performs best with the following item categories:

We are continuously expanding and improving our supported categories. Scanning items outside of these categories may produce less accurate results.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Hylura uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos and marketplace data to estimate resale value and potential profit. All results — including item identification, price estimates, deal ratings, Flip Scores, sell speed predictions, ROI calculations, and profit estimates — are estimates only and are not guaranteed to reflect actual market value, future sale prices, or real-world outcomes.

Markets change frequently, items vary in condition, and some products may be difficult to identify accurately from photos alone. Hylura is a research and analysis tool designed to assist your decision-making — it does not replace your own judgment, expertise, or due diligence.

3. User Responsibility

It is the user's responsibility to provide clear, well-lit photos of the item being scanned. Scan accuracy depends heavily on image quality, including visibility of brand labels, model numbers, condition details, and any identifying features.

Hylura is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by poor photo quality, unclear images, incorrect angles, or any other user error. Users are responsible for filling out all available detail fields on the scan page — including condition, asking price, accessories, and notes — as providing this information significantly improves scan accuracy.

4. Scan Refund Policy

Scans are non-refundable. Hylura does not refund scans for any reason other than a verified technical bug or system error on our end.

5. Scan Limits & No Rollover

Each subscription tier includes a set number of scans per month. Unused scans do not roll over to the next billing period. Your scan count resets to zero at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle, regardless of how many scans were used in the previous period.

Current scan limits by tier: Free (6/month), Basic (100/month), Pro (350/month), Power Seller (800/month), Aurora (1,500/month).

6. Subscription & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time and retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Hylura reserves the right to modify pricing, scan limits, or features with reasonable notice to subscribers.

7. Comparable Sales Data

Sold comparables ("comps") shown in scan results may be sourced from real marketplace data or AI estimates based on marketplace pricing trends, depending on your subscription tier and data availability. Each comp includes a link to verify pricing on eBay.

We strongly recommend cross-referencing comp data against actual marketplace listings before making purchasing decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

Hylura and its operators are not responsible for any financial losses, missed opportunities, bad purchases, or adverse outcomes resulting from decisions made based on scan results, estimates, or any other information provided by the app.

By using this app, you acknowledge that all results are informational estimates and that you assume full responsibility for any purchasing, selling, or investment decisions you make based on Hylura data.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our full Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Hylura. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@mitsukiyume.com. Upon account deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Locally stored scan history on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

12. Third-Party Services

Hylura relies on third-party services to operate, including OpenAI (AI item analysis), eBay marketplace data (recently sold listing prices), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apify (supplemental data collection). Your use of Hylura is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers.

13. Fair Usage

Hylura subscriptions are intended for individual resale research. Excessive automated scanning, scraping, reverse engineering, or commercial-scale abuse may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

Hylura allows users to set a public display name that appears on leaderboards and other community features. By setting a display name, you agree to the following:

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Hylura after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state laws.
